Aug 20, 2013 - The City of Vancouver is about to get even more breathtakingly beautiful, with the opening of the world’s second largest Victoria’s Secret store on August 27. The location on the corner of legendary Robson Street features two stories and over 35,000 square feet of lingerie, swim, sport and lounge, as well as VS PINK and Victoria’s Secret Beauty’s award-winning fragrance, and body care collections.
Vancouver’s first Victoria’s Secret celebrates the brand’s glam heritage at every turn, with a vibrant pink storefront and mirrored grand stairway, over-sized custom chandeliers, black cherry marble flooring, lingerie-inspired detailing and video walls playing the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, behind-the-scenes footage and more.
Want to be one of the first to walk in the doors? Join us for the Grand Opening on Tuesday, August 27, at 10am. Plus, celebrate and take a photo with VS Angel Lindsay Ellingson on Thursday, August 29, from 5-7pm.
The Victoria’s Secret flagship store at the intersection of Burrard and Robson will occupy a 35,000-square foot space on two levels of a building that before was the housed the original Vancouver Public Library’s Central Branch before being transformed into Virgin and HMV. When it opens, it will be one of the largest Victoria’s Secret locations in the world.
While this is the first Victoria’s Secret store in Vancouver, the company opened a small boutique at YVR’s U.S. terminal in 2011, and operates a PINK shop inside Metropolis at Metrotown.
