Hey Beauties.
One of my most favorite sweets/treats are Indian Burfi.
I love the one called "Khoya Burfi".
Here I'll teach you how to make this easy & pretty Vegetarian sweet, so creamy and delicious. :)
Ingredients:
* 2 1/2 Litre of Whole Milk
* 1 3/4 cups of Powdered Sugar
* 1 Tsp Cardamom Powder
* 1/2 cup of Pistachio (chopped up very finely)
* 1 Silver Sheet
Instructions:
1. First heat up the milk in a large pan on high and bring it to boil while stirring occasionally.
2. Then reduce the heat, but keep stirring.
3. When the milk gets thick, remove it from the flame.
4. Now you want to add the sugar to the thickened milk, and stir till it dissolves and then allow it to cool.
5. After the milk gets cool, add the cardamom powder and pistachios to it. Be sure to mix it well.
6. Spread the mixture evenly on a greased metal tray.
7. Press silver sheets on the mixture.
8. When the mixture gets set, you may cut it into medium-sized squares.
9. Now your Khoya Burfi is ready to serve to your friends and family. :)
