With Valentine’s Day approaching in a couple of days, I thought it’d be fun to share with you a "Get The Look" titled "Be Beautiful In Pink For Valentines Day". I got inspired by this gorgeously pretty picture of Victoria's Secret Model Adriana Lima, and thought it's such a perfect makeup look for this holiday!
When It comes to makeup while your getting dolled up for V-Day, go for a natural look with a touch of rosy cheeks with doll like lashes and a pretty pucker up pink shade of lipstick.
~ Here is how to get the look.. :) ~
* To give your skin a flawlessly smooth foundation, start with KORRES Wild Rose Foundation.
Follow with KORRES Wild Rose Compact Powder to set your look and remove any additional shiny-ness and even skin-tone.
Dust it on with a makeup brush (can be the same as your foundation one!)
Make sure your foundation and powder is well blended along the jawline.
* Next up is EYES..
Brighten your entire eye area with the oh so gorgeous Victoria's Secret Makeup Shimmer Eye Shadow in shade Champagne, by applying it from your lashline all the way up to the arch of your brow (a great brow highlighter).
* Next, create a smoldering cat eye with Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum in shade Black. Be sure not to tug on your eyelid, you don't want to cause premature wrinkles!
I like to start at the inner corner, and gradually thicken the line as you work your way out. For added drama, you can always line the inside of your lower lashline, too (for that I like to use a eye liner pencil.
To best achieve the 'wings' on your cat eye look make sure they are symmetrical, guide the liner three-quarters of the way across your lashline, then draw it one-third of the way up toward your brow. Be sure to fill in the area between your eye and the end point of the liner to create that classic stunning cat eye shape.
* After that, coat both top and bottom lashes with Physicians Formula Organic Wear Natural Origin Mascara in shade Ultra Black Organics! My favorite! It creates great doll like eyelashes on me! Without the need for any fake eyelashes! I love it.
* Then I like to touch up my brows just a bit, with the Too Faced Browines Pencil in shade Brown-ey.
For your Cheeks..
* Get a fresh natural glow by swirling Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Blush & Highlighter in shade Natural Glow onto the apples of your cheeks. For natural radiance, dust the bronzer up toward your temples, and along your jawline, too. Be sure to start with a light touch and gradually build color as desired.
* My favorite part! Lips!!
For a pretty pucker up pink shade of lipstick, I like to start with a lip balm first, my favorite is Nivea Hydro Care, then use Victoria's Secret Makeup Color Lust Lip Lacquer in Pose.
* I like to also add a touch of glitter to my hair style and a little on my body.. for this you can use.. Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Bronze Shimmer Dust.
* For a Fragrance choice with this beauty look, I would choose the very enticing Aquolina
