I have a yummy "Strawberry Ice Cream Float" to keep you cool & fresh on these hot days!

You can substitute any berries, like blueberries or raspberries, for the strawberries. To make milk shakes instead of floats, add ice cream and 1 cup buttermilk to blender with berry mixture and puree until almost smooth.
Serves 4
Put strawberries and maple syrup in a blender and puree until just slightly chunky to form strawberry syrup.
Scoop ice cream into 4 tall glasses, then top with the strawberry syrup, seltzer water, and whipped cream (if using).

- 2 cups hulled strawberries
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
- Unflavored seltzer water, chilled
- Whipped cream (optional)
